Cultivar Selection And Propagating Technique Of 'Zhongmoucuifeng' Jujube

'Zhongmoucuifeng'Jujube is a table Jujube cultivar. Cultivar selection work of jujube was conducted between the year of 2001 and 2008, it was finally obtained. Its growth and development character were observed by the variety test and regional cuilivation test for jujube varieties. Experiments on sowing patterns, herbicide, grafting, cuttage was conducted to investiage the effects of the different factors and levels on the propagation of'Zhongmoucuifeng'. The main results are as follows:'Zhongmoucuifeng'jujube was found in YaoJia town,Zhongmou county Henan province when jujube germplasm was investigated in 2001. Breed test was conducted in the Zhongmou institute of Jujube after grafting in 2002.Regional cuilivation test was conducted in the Zhongmou institute of Jujube Sciences,Xinzheng institute of Jujube Sciences,Neihuang county,Qi county Sanmenxia city Puyang city in Henan province between the year of 2004 and 2007.Demonstration Activities were conducted in the Zhongmou, Xinzhengcity ,Neihhuang county, Qi county , Sanmenxia city and Puyang city.The total acreage was more than 50hm2 and it was officially named"ZhongMouCuiFeng".'ZhongMouCuiFeng'jujube is a good cultivar that is suitable for fresh-eating The transplanting stock will begin to bear fruit in the second year and get to full bearing period at the fourth or fifth year.The average fruit per plant is 15kg .Sprouting phase is in mid April ,First blossom is in late May,The days to maturity is in mid september. The tree of"ZhongMouCuiFeng"jujube vigor is medium,the length of tree branch is 55.3cm, the length of second branch is 23.8cm,,the length of Jujube shoot is 17.71cm with 15.3 leaves. The average number of fruits per branch is 2.2.Its fruit flesh is fragile,contains mid juice.Average fruit weight is 5.91g and stone weight 0.42g.It contains 22.38%,soluble suger17.7%,vitaminC367mg/100g.'ZhongMouCuiFeng'has strang adaptability and resisting adversity.It has a stable output in the region of Henan province.The time of germination is 10d after planting germination rate 96%,seeding height 123cm in the mode of zizyphus vulgaris and covered by plastic.This mode short the breed time and improve the germination rate compared other planting pattern,It is the most conducive to the growth of rootstock seedings planting pattern. In the studies of grafting,the best time of collecting scion which is annual branchs is in late of March to earil April The scion was grafted with the method inlay grafting in mid April to early May.The survival rate of scion is 90% and seedling quality. Trials on seedling emergence and weeding of'Zhongmoucuifeng'which is treated with different herbicides,the best treatment effect is 48% Butralin which's weeding rate is 98.8% in early addition ,late weeding was more remarkable ,almost no weeds grow.More significance is that herbicides don't effect the seedling emergence ,the germination rates are more than 94%.this was followed by 50% acetochlor treatment that's efect was significantly.Experiment on seedling cuttings rooting rate and root growth of'Zhongmoucuifeng'was cutttaged with different factors.The superior combination of factors resulted as follows: Choosing the first branch or secondary branch as shoot for cutting which was cuttaged in sandy loam using IBA1000 mg /L or ABT6 1000 mg/L speed dip in 10 seconds at former.
