Effect Of Acupuncture On Activities Of Antioxidases In The Liver Of SAM-P/10

In this study, The SAM-P/1O mice 3 , 6 , 9 month old were divided into 3 groups randomly: the Acupoint group,the Non-Acupoint Group and the Control group.The first group was treated with "Tiaoshen Yizhi, Pinggan Tong- luo" acupuncture method for 2 weeks ; the SAM-R/1 mice were used as the Normal Control group .The activities of CuZn-SOD ,CAT and GSH-Px in Liver were determined, so were the content of MDA and the tissue weight of the liver. The results showed that the activities of CuZn-SOD, CAT and GSH-Px were lower significantly in SAM-P/10 Group than those in SAMR/1 Group. The content of MDA was higher insignificantly. But no difference was found between the liver weight of SAM-P/1O and SAM-R/1. The level of MDA of acupoint group was lower than that in the control group, while activities of CuZn-SOD ,CAT and GSH-Px of the acupoint group became higher than those of the control group. It seemed the Acupunture method which attached great importance to reating The Liver(TCM)s a good treatment for gerontal disorders.
