Abstract Objective:By analysing the relation between the ration of NBCA and the arteriovenous circulation time ,to search the optimal ration of NBCA for embolizing cerebral AVM with microcatheter in clinic. Materials and Methods:(1) the fresh aterial blood inVitro of the 16 cases SAH or intracranial hemorrhage is mixed with each of the 20%-. 33%~. 50%-. 70% and 80% NBCA, and evaluate the coagulation time of the different density NBCA in the fresh aterial blood inVitro.(2) 33 cases CAVM are graded by Spetzler grading system and evaluate A-V circulation time.(3).two cases are made superselective embolotherapy to five feeder artery. Results: (1)the relation of power function between different density NBCA 1 99944 187D and the fresh areterial blood In Vitro: T æ…¶) =e (2)the arteriovenous circulation time is negative correlation with Spetzler grade ,and almost regarded as the coagulation time of the fresh arterial blood in Vitro. Conclusion:There is a mathematical model between the arteriovenous circulation time and the ration of NBCA ,supply the theoretical evidence for using the embolotherapy of CAVM with microcatheter in clinic.
