Design Of Electrocardiograph Telediagnosing System

Telemedicine has been applied gradually in the fields of medical information consultation, medical image transmission, remote education, remote monitoring, telesurgery and telepresence, emergency treatment, and health care. Communication and computer networks are playing significant roles in the development of telemedicine. Only those that are compatible with universal computer network can achieve full performance of telemedicine.With the development of internet business and increasing requirement of network bandwidth, wide band has becomes the emphasis of constructing Information Expressway. Wide City Band ( WCB ) provides high-speed business platform for telemedicine. We design an Electrocardiograph Telediagnosing System ( ECGTS ) with web technology, which is undoubtedly dominant in information platforms.The implementation of following key technologies, such as network construction of ECGTS, remote transmission of database, design of ECG Server Database System, ECG automatic identification algorithm and development of web technology, are emphatically demonstrated in the dissertation and then an intranet-based trial system is established.ECGTS is composed of ECG server, patients and doctor PC. The service, such as web and database accession, identification, authorization and cost-counting are available for its members by ECG Server. When feeling uncomfortable, patients can log in ECG Server and ask for service. The server can temporarily save ECG data and informs correlative doctor. Once the doctor accepts the requirement, the patient's 12-lead ECG shows. With the aid of automatic diagnosing performance by ECGTS, the ECG diagnosing report can be successfully completed and submitted to the server. Eventually the server will inform patients the final report by email.ECGTS, constructed by browser, database and server, requires no special system platform. The registers only need install IE Explore to support web accession and ActiveX controls implementation. ECGTS has an optimistic future and can be widely applied in households, small information living areas, clinics and medical agencies.
