| Electroacupuncture (EA) can regulate the visceral function and it's benefits on the degestive system has been comfirmed by a vast amount of clinical and laboratory researches. It has repairy and therapentic effect on degestive impairement and other diseases. While its mechanism is still unknown. This investigation observed the gastric motor and it's related physiological and biochemical changes caused by EA at gastric acupoint with/with out interference to evaluate the posible mechanism of EA's regulatory effect on gastric motality function. METHODSElectrophysiological, immunohistochmical method and radioimmunoassay were used. EA was given at rat's Tsusanli JShangchusu and Non-acupoint with/with out denervation or capsaicin injection. We synchonously observed the electrogastrogram, spontanneous electricity of the related centre-NTS and DMV and the change of neuropeptide and cytokine. RESULTS1. EA can affect the gastric electro-activity obviously梤educing its amplitude and frequency. EA at different acupoint had different effects and EA at Tsusanli had the distinct inhibitory effects on gaster. It suggested that Tsusanli has relative acupoint idiocrasy.Foundation hem: National Natural Science Foundation of China 399708882. Under the normal condition, EA can activiate dorsal motor nucleus of the vagus nerve(DMV) and nucleus tractus solitary(NTS).In the meanwhile , the level of CGRP and IL-1 in plasma changed whereas TNF in plasma had no change in same condition.3. Under the interference of denervation or capsaicin injection, EA's effect on the gastric electric activity disappeared. Its effect on the activation of DMV and NTS, neuroelectricity and the level CGRP and IL-1 in plasma differed from the normal physiological condition. CONCLUSIONEA can regulate the gastric motality function which be carried out mainly through the nerve system. In the meantime, the humoral, endocrine, gut and cytokine play a role. EA's effect was fulfiled by their interaction and coordination. |
