| Clinical studying of Relationship between Hypertension TCM Syndromes and Insulin?Resistance, and Salt ?SensitivitySpeciality: Internal Medicine of Combination of TCM and Western Medicine.Graduated Student: Wu Qi FengTeacher: Xiong Shang Quan associate professorAbstract: Measurements of fasting blood ?glucose and serum insulin level were made in 84 case of hypertension patient. Measurements of salt ?sensitivity were made too, by saline loading, natriuretic and diuretic tests. About indexes were compaired with 30 cases of normal people, in order to find out relationship between the indexes and TCM Syndrome of hypertension. Result: 1. Insulim ?resistance, and salt ?sensitivity are different obviously between hypertension patients and normal people. Both 憀evel of serum insulin, and salt ?sensitivity rise obviously, and index of insulin ?sensitivity lower obviously in the cases of hypertemsion. (P <0. 05?. 01). 2. Salt ?sensitivity is different obviously during every TCM syndromes of hypertension. Excessive Damp ?Phlegm Syndrome > Hyperactivity of Liver ?yang Syndrome > Syndrome of Yang Hyperactivity due to Yin Deficiency > Syndrome of deficiency of both Yin and Yang. Salt ?sensitivity in both Excessive Damp ?phlegm Syndrome, and Hyperactivity of Liver ?yang Syndrome, is higher obviously than in Syndrome of Deficiency of both Yin and Yang(P< 0.05). 3. Insulin ?resistance is obviously dif~erent during the TCM Syndromes of hypertension. Index of insulin ?sensitivity in Excessive Damp ?phlegm Syndrome < Hyperactivity of Liver ?yang Syndrome < Syndrome of Yang Hyperactivity due to Yin Deficiency < Syndrome of both Deficiency of Yin and Yang. Insulin ?resistance in both Excessive Damp ?phlegm Syndrome, and Hyperactivity of Liver ?yang Syndrome is higher obviously than that in Syndrome of Yang Hyperactivity due to Yin Deficiency. That in Syndrome of Yang HYeractivity due to Yin Deficiency is higher obviously than in Syndrome of Deficiency of both Yin and Yang. (P<0. 05?.01). 4. Insulin ?resistance in cases of salt ?sensitivity is higher obviously than that of non ?salt ?sensitivity. (P< 0.05 ?0.01). The data in this article show insulin ?resistance and salt ?sensitivity are different during the diffenent syndromes of hypertension. These data are helpful to the syndrome differentiation of Hypertension... |
