Objective:This study attemped to explore anxiety neurosis of clinical phenomenology, psychosocial and biological factors mainly meaning neurobiochemistry, endocrinic and immunoligical factors how to play roles in the disease and mainly compared GAD with PA.Methods:30 cases of GAD and 30 cases of PA met GAD and PA of diagnostic criteria in CCMD-2-R .All patients were interviewed in general questionnaire ,case history questionnaire and family history questionnaire, HAMD, KAMA, SAS, EPQ, TABA, LES, SSRS, FES-CV, DSQ, and measured NE, Cortical and IL-2 in blood serum. Meanwhile some indexes were compared with norms and normals. Results: 1.Clinical phenomenology showed:(l)GAD group had longer diseased period while PA group had more intellctuals.(2)PA group had more mental cases in their families.(3)PA group had more or more severe acute onsets, emergency treatments, suicidal cases, compamied depression cases, somatic somptoms, autonomic symptoms, damage of social function and labour ability than GAD group while GAD group only had more inducements. (4)The scores of two groups had significantly higher than those of norms. The scores of HAMD,KAMA and SAS weresignificantly positively correlative among them. The score of PA group in Anxiety/Somatization was significantly higher than that of GAD.2. Psychosocial factors showed: The rates of A behavior in two groups were signifacantly higher than that of normal controls. The factor scores of twe groups except for L factor were also signifacantly higher than those of normal controls.(2)The rates of Neurogen and Psychoplasm in two groups were signifacantly higher than those of normal controls.P and N scores of two groups were also signifacantly higher than those of normal controls.? and N scores were significantly positively correlative.(3)GAD group and PA group had more life events than normal controls.GAD group had more negative life events than PA group.(4)SSRS showed the objective support score of PA group was signifacantly higher than that of normal controls and GAD group.(5)There were family function deficits in two groups. The ambivalence score of GAD and PA was signifacantly higher than that of norms. And the scores in success ,amusement, culture and discipline factors were signifacantly lower than norms. The culture and amusement factor scores of PA group signifacantly higher than that of GAD.(6)The somatization and fancy factor scores of two groups in Inmuture Defense Mechanism were signifacantly higher than those of normal controls. And The humor factor score of two groups in Muture Defense Mechanism was signifacantly lower than normal controls. The neurosis factor scores of two groups were gnifacantly higher than those of normal controls. 3. Neurobiochemistry, endocrinic and immunoligical factors showed: ( 1 ) The blood serum noradrenaline concentration of two groupswas signifacantly higher than normal controls.(2)The blood serum general cortisol concentration of two groups was no difference with that of normal controls.(3)The blood serum interlenkin-2 concentration of GAD group was signifacantly lower and that of PA group was signifacantly higher than that of normals. Conclusions:GAD and PA were close concerned with biological factors and psychosocial factors.GAD was more connected with psychosocial factors while PA was more connected with biological factors.
