Result: The most proper extraction condition for coptis and mongolian milkvetch is using 18 times water to decocte the herbs for 2 times, Each time for 1.5h. Chinese taxillus twig and korean epimedium herb with 60% ethanol circumfluence to abstract twice. Add ethanol for 12 times, 7 times inspecively. Abstraction hour separate for 2h, 1.5h. Adopt spray-drying process to prepare dry extract powder, the ratio of dry extract powder and dextrin is about 3:1, proteoglycan 3.5%, dry process to pelletize. Using HPLC to detect the content of icariine in the preparation. Pharmacodynamics experimental result indicate that the preparation has favorable cure effect on the middle and old-age hypertension. Conclusion: The technics and methodical control of quality of Yi Shen decompression granules are convenient and feasible,stable and credible. Pharmacodynamics experiment supply experiment foundation for clinical application.
