Objectives: This study describes the prevalence rates and related factors of pregnant outcome in Hefei Western community; and then explores the relationship between the infection of toxoplasma gondii or cytomegalovirus and pregnant outcome , and then acquires the psychological development level of the high-risk infants. Methods: Using cross-section study, we survey the prevalence rates of pregnant outcomes with historical routine data; by chi-square test and multiple logistic regression analysis we explore the related factors of pregnant outcome; with nested case-control design, we study the relationship between the infection of toxoplasma gondii or cytomegalovirus during pregnancy and pregnant outcome; and then we follow up the psychological development of high risk infants. Results: The prevalence rate of normal newborn is 91.30%; the rates of premature delivery and postterm pregnancy are 2.38% and 2.64%; the rate of IUGR is 3.85%; while the LBW's rate is 1.94%; the rates of spontaneous abortion , fetal death and birth defect are 0.84%, 0.09% and 0.25% , respective. Placenta previa, premature rupture of fetal membrane (PROM), multiple pregnancy and maternal chronic hypertension are the main rlated factors of premature delivery; IUGR is associated with oligohydramnios and umbilical cord abnormity; PROM, maternal chronic hypertension and multiple pregnancy are the risk factors of LBW; the rlated factors of asphyxia of newborn are maternal pregnant induced hypertension (PIH), fetal distress and IUGR. The active infenction of TOX, CMV in pregnancy will have adverse effect on pregnant outcome. The high risk infants have a lower level of psychological development during the first year. Conclusion: According to the special conditions of an urban community, we should reinforce high risk factors monitoring and management during pregnancy to reduce abnormal pregnant outcome. For thehigh risk infants, we should enforce health care and take some early intervention to promote their psychological developmental level .
