Objection: To investigate the cyclineD1, Bax and p53 protein in breast benign and malignant lesion and the significance of their expression. Mathod: cyclineD1 protein, Bax and p53 expression and alteration in 30 hyperplasia , 29 atypical hyperplasia and 65 breast cancer were detected by immunohistochemistry (LSAB). Result: The positive frequency of cyclineDl protein in hyperplasia (6.7%) was lower than in atypical hyperplasia and breast cancer (48.3%, 52.3%) significantly (P<0.05). The Bax in hyperplasia (93.3%) revealed notably higher than in atypical hyperplasia (72.4%) (P<0.05 ). Overexpression of p53 protein in breast carcinoma was moderately higher than in benign lesions (P<0.05 ) . The positive rate of Bax protein has statistic significance between Han patients and Uygur patients (P<0.05) . No statistic significance in positive rate of cyclineDl , Bax and p53 on histological typing and nodal status of cancer patients was found. Theexpression of p53 significantly correlated with cyclineDl and Bax in breast cancer group (P<0.05) . Conclusion: 1.The expression of cyclineDl , Bax and p53 protein are involved in the malignant transformation and carcinogenesis from breast benign lesion; 2.The different effection of Bax gene on carcinogenosis of Han and Uygur women; 3.cyclineD1, Bax and p53 abnormal expression are associated with the development of breast cancer and may be helpful to early diagnose and prevent in breast cancer.
