With the development of modern medical devices , the detection of cerebral aneurysms has been generally rised . The complications of the are subarachnoid hemorrhage and circumference of cerebral aneu-rysms is compressed , and mortality rate of patients with cerebral an-eurysms rupture has arised to 50% with 24 hours . Therefore , looking for a conventional and utility examination method has greatly clinical meanings, and we can decrease fatality rate and disabled rate by the means of earlier detection and earlier treatment.There have been many reports about the imaging studies of cere-bral aneurysm, seeking to find an excellent imaging modality for blood vessel technique. Ultrasound ^digital subtraction angiography and mag-netic resonance imaging can be used to evaluate cerebral aneurysm , but both have some limitations.In recent years , the occurrences of SCT, special the multi -slice CT have provided a brand - new technique of cerebral vessel , during a conbolution, it can acquire multi - slice volume data, rise scan speed , and equip powerful after fishing software , they can let us observe lesion from multi - direction and multi - angle , and have great animation, its purpose is to compare 3D - MSCTA and DSA of display cerebral aneurysm, and discuss diagnosis value of 3D - MSC-TA to examine cerebral aneurysm, and provide valid objected basis to treatment, and by the way compare value about 3D - MSCTA SSD,MI VR value to clinical treatment.In 1998, with occurrence of the multi - slice CT, a lot of domes-tic and abroad scholars have gone on some correlation studies , and make some achievements of cerebral aneurysms precise localization and measurement of size, however abroad reports about aneurysm wall calcification and aneurysm cave mural thrombus are few , and domestic reports are fewer . Moreover , the comparison of the three common used techniques - SSD, MIP and VR has not detailed reports.In our studies , we collect 37 patients with subarachnoid hemor-rhage that clinical suspect cerebral aneurysm, 37 patients go on 3D -MSCTA and IADSA examination successively, in order to provide clinical application.MATERIALS AND METHODSPatients37 patients (18 men and 19 women, mean age 50. 8 years, age range 20 to 74 years) who had subarachnoid hemorrhage were includ-ed in our study, All patients went on 3D - MSCTA and IADSA exami-nation successively , of which 29 had cerebral aneurysm by surgery .Imaging Protocol3D - MSCTA was performed with MX8000 scanner, KV 120, mAs 280, thick 1. 3/3. 2mm , 512 x512 matrix, 150ml Omnipaque (350miligram per 100ml) were injected from elbow vein by means of a power injector at a rate of 4ml/sec. After a delay of 18 - 20 sec-onds, a set of 1. 3/3. 2mm thick axial sections were obtained . The acquired raw data were reconstructed at 0. 6mm intervals and then transferred to workstation and the reconstruction was done on the work-station. IADSA was performed with SHIMADZU DIGITEX 2400(α).A set of images were obtained during transcatheter injection of 21ml contrast (350miligram per 100ml,0mnipaque : disebrin saline =1; 1) with a power injector at a rate of 5ml/sec, with duration of 10 sec-onds and 15 frames per second.Image InterpretationTwo observers evaluated the 3D - MSCTA and IADSA images separately. They observed cerebral aneurysms location, size and di-mension. Besides, based on a four - point scoring system; IV: excel-lent, III rgood, II :fair, I :poor, the images were graded for the cer-ebral aneurysm of 3D - MSCTA and IADSA according to six parame-ters ; aneurysm and which arteria carry it display darity or not , both 3D interspace relation is darity or not, aneurysm wall calcification , aneurysm cave mural thrombus, edge of aneurysm is smooth and gloss-y or not and detail of the vessels.Statistical AnalysisScores were expressed as mean SD, comparison of 3D- MSCTA and IADSA was performed using pair rank statistics, with the surgery or DSA as reference of standard; sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive valu...
