objective:The aim of this study is to understand germicidal efficacy of Kangweida disinfectant on hospital infection bacteria and its bactericidal mechanism on Escherichia coli. The results could provide scienfic basis for rational use and popularization of this disinfectant. Methods:1, suspension quantitative bactericidal tests were carried out to observe the Germicidal Efficacy.2, Bacterial ultrastructure were observed by transmission electron microscope.3, peroxidization of liqid were calculated. Results:1, The killing rates of E.cloacae exposed to the solution containing 0.2% and 0.1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were99. 94 %, 99. 96% , 99. 99% and 99. 91%, 99. 94% , 99. 96%; The killing rates of A. baumannii exposed to the solution containing 0/2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99. 99%, 100% , 100% and 99. 98%, 99.99% , 100%; The killing rates of K. pneumoniae exposed to the solution containing 0. 2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99.95%, 99.97% , 99. 99% and 99. 93%, 99.97% , 99.99%; The killing ratesof S. schleiferi exposed to the solution containing 0. 2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99. 73%, 99.97% , 100% and 99. 66%, 99.93% , 100%; The killing rates of C. albicans exposed to the solution containing 0.2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3,10 min were 99. 93%, 99. 99%, 100% and 99. 87%, 99. 98% , 99. 99%; The killing rates of P. aeruginosa exposed to the solution containing 0. 2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99. 96%, 99.97% , 99. 99% and 99. 92 %, 99.97% , 99.98%; The killing rates of C. tropicalis exposed to the solution containing 0. 2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99.98%, 100% , 100% and 99.95%, 99.98% , 100%; The killing rates of C. freundii exposed to the solution containing 0. 2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99. 81%, 99. 90% , 99. 99% and 99. 80 %, 99. 88% , 99. 96%; The killing rates of S . paratyphi-A exposed to the solution containing 0. 2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99. 95%,99. 98% ,100% and 99. 91%,99. 95% ,99. 99%; The killing rates of E. aerogenes exposed to the solution containing 0.2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99.90%, 99.96% , 100% and 99. 83%, 99.94% , 99.99%; The killing rates of P. mirabilis exposed to the solution containing 0.2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3, 10 min were 99.95%, 99.97% , 99.99% and 99.90%, 99.95% , 99.98%; The killing rates of P. maltophilia exposed to the solution containing 0.2% and 0. 1% Kangweida disinfectant for 1, 3,10 min were 99. 94%, 99. 99% ,100% or 99. 85%, 99.92% , 100%.2, The results showed that The ultrastructure alteration of Escherichia coli was found as follow:the wided space between cell wall and cell membrace, the loosened, thickened and uneven cell wall and diluted cytoplasm were seen with transmission electron microscope.In normal Escherichia coli,MDA content was 0. 35 0. 29 n mo 1/ml. After 1 min, MDA content was 4.65 1.52 n mol/ml. After 3 min, MDA content was 6. 59 2. 52n mol/ml. There was significant difference between the normal Escherichia coli and the other two group (p < 0. 01, p < 0. 01).Conclusion:1, 20 2 , its solution containing 0.2% and 0. 1%Kangweida with a 10 min contact time could kill at least 99.99% of A. baumannii , K. pneumoniae, S. schleiferi, C. albicans, C. tropical is, S . paratyphi-A, E. aerogenes and P. maltophilia and kill at least 99.90% of E. cloacae, P. aeruginosa , C. freundii and P. mirabilis in suspension.2, the bactericidal mechanism on Escherichia coli was mainly destruction of permeability barrier of the cells and peroxidization of lipids, leading to death of bacteria.
