Effect Of Eugenol And Borax Containing Cream On Plauqe-Induced Gingivitis

AHEAL' essential components are Eugenol and borax that could suppress the growth of bacteria . Now, as a III type Western medicine of cream dose which treat familiar disease in oral cavity AHEAL was used in clinical treatment already . To confirm the effect of AHEAL , randomization, blinding and control way were adopted to give drug .experimental drug,positive control drug (Colgate Total) and negative control drug ( shaungjian toothpaste ) were used in Plaque-Induced Gingivitis in the oral section of the secoend people' s hospotal, then record the GI(L6e-Sliness 1963), SBI (Mazza 1981) and P1I (Turesky et al .(1970)modification of the Quigley and Hein(1962) before experiment and at 4th , 8th , 12th week . Otherwise , record the VSCs content in the 9:00 AM at the same day . we found that the clinical index in positive control and in experiment group was improved along with the experiment processs. The content of VSCsdecreased (P<0.01) . There was a significance differentce between experiment group and control group in clinical index and contents of VSCs (p<0.001) .according to different location we distribute the teeth that in serious gingivitis to experiment group and control group .Then inunction the cream dose on the affected part twice a day while the patients must tooth brushing by the oral-B brush and the shuangjian toothpaste everyday. Record the clinical index GI(L6e-Sliness 1963), SBI(Mazza 1981),P1I (Turesky et al.(1970)modification of the Quigley and Hein(1962) at the 1st, 3rd ,5th day and collect the plaque sample in ingiva edge at 1st , 5th to observe animalcule.we found that the clinical index in experiment group were meliorate in serious gingivitis(p<0.001), PI score was significantly riserabove all here are clinical significance in use AHEAL cream dose to maintenance the effect after periodontal treatment.
