Objective : To investigate the effect of grape procyanidins (GPC) on circulating system and antiplateiet aggregation through the hemorheology and ratio of platelet aggregation were measured both in vivo and vitro.Methods: In vivo study : 22 long distance runner were divided into experimental and control groups randomly ?The hemorheology and ratio of platelet aggregation of peripheral blood were examined fo.r all of them before the GPC taken . Then the members of experimental group took the GPC orally 100mg each time and twice a day in ten-days period.After that, the blood smaples were taken again from both groups, the hemorheology, which included such items as Er, IR, TK, VAI, MST, Eb, HCT, Ep, PFC, TFL and the ratio of platelet aggregation were detected respectively.In vitro study: Blood samples were taken from five long distance runner, and every example was divided into five parties: I . normal control group II .GPC control group III. positive control group IV. The injury protectived control group A V . The injury protectived control group B. After the blood were incubated with the above reagents, the hemorheology and the ratio of platelet aggregation were tested accordingly. Results:1. In vivo study: the members of experimental group showed significant decline in such items as Eb, HCT, IR, VAI and TFL compared with the dates from themselves before the GPC eaten.and the TK is higher than the GPC eaten .2. In vivo study: the ratio of platelet aggregation reduced clearly after the GPC taken. The ratio of platelet aggregation in experimental group was lower significantly than that of control group.3. In vitro study: GPC control group showed lower IR, MST, Ep TFL, PFC than normal control group; positive control group had higher MST, Ep, PFC than normal control group; The injury protectived control group A had lower MST, Ep, TFL than normal control group; positive control group had higher MST, Ep, TFL than GPC control group; The injury protectived control group A had lower MST, Ep, PFC, TFL than positive control group .4. In vitro study:As the ratio of platelet aggregation:the platelet aggregation of GPC control group The injury protectived control group A and The injury protectived control group B were lower significantly than that of normal control group(p<0.05).the platelet aggregation of GPC control group The injury protectivedcontrol group A and The injury protectived control group B were lowersignificantly than that of positive control group(P<0.05).there was no different between GPC control group and The injuryprotectived control group B(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. In vivo study:the Eb.HCT.IR.VAI.TFL were lower significantly than the control group and themselves before the GPC eaten.GPC possesses the effect of antithrombosis through declining the Eb.2. In vivo study:GPC can reduce the ratio of platelet aggregation .3. In vitro study: GPC control group showed lower IR, MST, Ep TFL, PFC than normal control group, GPC possesses the effect of antithrombosis.4. In vitro study : GPC can reduce the ratio of platelet aggregation .
