Objective: To investigate the pathogenesis of acute lung injury(ALI) associated with acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP) and the effects of treatment with immunodepressive. Methods: 32 ANP rats was reproduced by restrograde injection of 5% sodium taurocholate into pancreatic duct. Animals were divided into four groups: untreated group, Methylprednisolone(MPS) group, Tripterygium group and MPS-Tripterygium group. Another 8 rats were used as control group. At 6 hours after injection, animals in each group were sacrificed, serum amylase and TNF- a were measured, the expression of TNF-a in lung tissue was observed by ABC imrnunohistochemistry. Results: As compared with contral group ,the levels of serum TNF a and amylase and TNF a expression in lung tissue were significantly increased in rats with ALI associated with ANP(p<0.05); MPS and Tripterygium could effectively inhibit the expression of pulmonary TNF a (p<0.05) and reduce the TNF a and AMY levels in serum (p<0.05).Conclusion: TNF a plays important role in acute lung injury associated with acute necrotizing pancreatitis. MPS and Tripterygium could prevent the exprssion of TNF a and play positive effect in ALL...
