Biomedical impedance tomography is a new dynamic in the medical imaging. In the recent years enormous progress has been made in this area since this technology were established. The technology has been advanced to be one of the important research subjects of the international biomedical engineering. With the lucubration on the electrical impedance tomography (HIT), many groups are now paying more attention to the three-dimensional case. Thus this thesis is aimed at the three-dimension forward problem of the EIT, beginning with the research on the two-dimension situations, in order to lay the foundation of the research on the three dimension inverse problem. The research work is as folio wings:1.The states of the developing in biomedical EIT and its applications foreground are concisely reviewed.2.The basic research on two-dimension EIT which includes the two-dimension forward and inverse problems is introduced. The comparison between the numerical solution got by (finite element method)FEM and the analytical solution shows that the numerical solution got by FEM is precise enough.3.On the basis of the research on the two-dimension, the three-dimension EIT forward problem is studied. The potential distributions change with the different conductivity not only in the uniform but also in the four-sphere models. When it comes to the numerical computation methods, we used the models both the ones divided by myself and by the existing software. Then the results show that the numerical solutions are close to the analytical ones.
