Objective: Through the research of the disposal and utilization of specific Laboratory result information, the paper put forward a solution to the " bottle neck" problem in the conflict-the low efficient manual labor cannot meet the high efficient need of automation large analyzers. The paper researches the methods of building up laboratory's online management system and network infor-mation system, and finally puts forward a project of collecting and synchronizing data and founding a mode of data management in laboratory net about distributing data. The designed program promotes the work quality and efficiency in hospital laboratories while reducing the work volume.Methods: This project begins with the analysis of the needs of specific laboratory. The system framework is separated into three parts: 1- laboratory data collection through equipments interface including initiating the interface and receiving data package and depositing data to DB; 2. data management operation in DB, for example, inputting information to DB or modifying and maintenance or inquiring and statistics or calculating or plotting or composing and printing the reports of result management quality control and so on; 3. data reorganization of the whole system. This part means to have a united reorganization of the data results from different labs and to have a complete final results in the server by which we can finish inquiring, statistics and reporting of the result data without needing to consult other connecting computers one by one. Because of the designing and the use of VB, FOXPRO and SQL server, work efficiency could be greatly improved.Result:The designing has achieved its' expected effects. The online management of two analyzers has been gained successfully. The management system with full and complete function is of great practical value. It turns the sharingmanagement of laboratory data network into reality and it would be used in HIS system of hospitals.Conclusion; By using comparatively advanced designing methods and data base applied technology, the project has established a practical and reliable information management system which realize data reorganization and data sharing on the basis of ODBC. The originality of the project lies in the designing and realization of its'system function, which fully embodies the idea of respecting people. The defect of the project is that limited by the function of old system, the data communication code still has much room for improvement.
