Rennin angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS)is one of the main mechanisms of LVH caused by hypertention, LVH and pathological changes myocardium fibroelastosis have close relation with it. Traditional Chinese medicine can not only control the lever of blood pressure effectively and reduce the activation of RAAS, which is the key of reducing the incidence of cardiovascular complication and morbility of hypertention. On this research according to study of rat with pressure overload, we get the conclusion of Baoxinjiangyakang from hemodynamics pressure, LVMI, ultrastucture immuneohistoc hemistry etc. The result of the experiment shows: (1) Baoxinjiangyakang can control the blood pressure effectiveoy (2) Baoxinjiangyakang can lower the level of plasma Ang and ALD effectively. (3) according to optical microscop and electron microscope research on model rat ultrastructure and pathological,Baoxinjiangyakang can resist collagen deposion, interstitial remodel.
