| Object: Ocular blunt trauma is one of the common diseases,which severily do harm to the visual function. Traumatic choroidopathy may play a role in the progrnosis for visual recovery in these cases. This study was designed to observe the hemodynamics alteration in retina and choriod after trauma and in the process of restoration using simultaneous fundus indocyanine green and fluorescein angiography.In clinic the patients underwent simultaneous fundus indocyanine green and fluorescein angiography with the combination of flicker electroretinogram(F-ERG).To evaluate the degree of the damage to the retina and choroids ,so that the valuable markers to make correct prognosis of the traumatic chorioretinopathy can be found.Methods1 The routine check was carry out to all the subject,including traumatic chorioretinopathy patients and the normal matched control group,in the department of Opthalmolgy.2 FFA and ICGA examination was performed on 52 patients (52 eyes) with taumatic chorioretinopathy within two weeks after trauma,and the follow up was made in these cases.The both eye's corrected visual acuity in the final visit was recorded.The normal mathed control group including 20 cases (40 eyes) also underwent simultaneous fundus indocyanine green and fluorescein angiography. To observe the image characters of the retina and choroid in FFA and ICGA.To record the arm-retina circulation time(A-RCT), arm-choroid circulation time(A-CCT) and retina circulation time (RCT) of the patients and the mornal control group The times of A-RCT, A-CCT and RCT in the patients were compared to the control group's by the t-test respectively.Three groups was devided according the filling condition of the choroidal blood vessel in the early phase and late phase in ICGA,which are extensive mal-filling, limited mal-filling and non-apparent mal-filling.The re-examnination of FFA and ICGA was made to patients during the follow up at one month after trauma and three months after trauma.3 The examnination of F-ERG was made in two weeks after trauma. Both eyes's parameters in F-ERG were recorded. The parameters in F-ERG of the injured eye were compared to the parameters in F-ERG of the oppsite healthy eye by the t-test respectively.4 Analysis of variance was performed between choroidal extensive mal-filling group, choroidal limited mal-filling group and choroidal non-apparent mal-filling group about the parameters of A-RCT, A-CCT and RCT and the parameters in F-ERG.5 Correlation analysis ware performed about the prognosis of visual acuity to find the valuable markers.Results1 The visual acuity of the injured eye in the first visit is from 0.04 to 1.2,the visual acuity of the injured eye in the final visit is from 0.02 to 1.5. 2 There are 11 cases in the choroidal extensive mal-filling group, 28 cases in the choroidal limited mal-filling group and 13 cases in the choroidal non-apparent mal-filling group,which were divided according to the filling of the choriodal blood vessels in ICGA.On ICGA dilataltion and/or narrowing of the choroidal blood vessel were visualized in 33 eyes of 52 eyes.Furthermore, in the region of retinal opacity, hypofluorescence was observed in late phase in 13 eyes of 52 eyes,hyperfluorescence was observed in 17 eyes of 52 eyes, both hypofluorescence and hyperfluorescence were observed in 19 eyes of 52 eyes ,suggesting damage to the choriocapillaris.In 19 of the 52 eyes , FFA showed fluorescein leakage in the region of retinal opacity, a salt-and-pepper appearance in the region of retinal opacity was found in 13 eyes of 52 eyess, both fluorescein leakage and a salt-and-pepper appearance in the region of retinal opacity were found in 8 eyess of 52 eyes.
