The effect of Chushihuayu decoction to the curative effect hyperuricemia patients as well as the serum uric acid, xanthine oxidase and the kidney function of the rat models with hyperuricemia was investigated. Also the working mechanism of the Chushihuayu decoction to these diseases was discussed. This research provides both clinical and experimental bases for pharmic exploiture.1 . The clinical observation of hyperuricemia patients treated by the Chushihuayu DecoctionObjective: To observe the clinical curative effect of the Chushihuayu Decoction to hyperuricemia patients. Methods: In this experiment, 50 patients with damp-heat with blood stasis hyperuricemia were selected and they were divided into two groups randomly. One is treated by Chushihuayu Decoction and the other is treated by benzbromarone. After 30 days' treatment, The curative effect and Chinese medical syndromes, serum uric acid, triglyceride ,cholesterin,blood urea nitrogen and creatinine were tested and compared with those before the treatment.Result: (1) The Chushihuayu Decoction can lower the level of serum uric acid. (2)The Chushihuayu Decoction can ameliorate the damp-heat with blood stasis symptom. (3) The Chushihuayu Decoction can lower the level of triglyceride and cholesterin in a degree.2. The effect of Chushihuayu Decoction to serum uric acid and kidney function of rat models with hyperuricemia.Objective: To observe the effect of the Chushihuayu Decoction to serum uric acid and kidney Function'of rat models with hyperuricemia.Materials and Methods: In this experiment, rats were chosen to as hyperuricemia models by adenine and ethambutol. The serum uric acid, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine and xanthine oxidase of the rats were measured on the seventh and fourteenth days of the experiment respectively. Urinary pVmicroglobulin and urinary N-Acetyl- -D-Aminoglycosidases of the rats were measured on the date before the experiment and the seventh day of the experiment respectively. And the pathological diagnosis of the left kidney of rats is investigated on the fourteenth day of the experiment. Result: (l)The level of serum uric acid of the group with high dose of Chushihuayu Decoction is lower than the model group at the seventh and fourteenth days, as well as thexanthine oxidase level on the seventh day. (2) The level of the serum uric acid and xanthine oxidase of the allopurinol group decreased obviously on theseventh and fourteenth days. And the blood urea nitrogen and creatinine were much higher than the that of the group with high dosage of the Chushihuayu Decoction.(3) High dosage of the Chushihuayu Decoction can lower the level of urinary (32-microglobulin and urinary N-Acetyl- (3 -D-Aminoglycosidases.3. Conclusion: (l)The Chushihuayu Decoction can lower the level of serum uric acid and xanthine oxidase.(2) It can make the level of triglyceride and cholesterin lower in a degree. (3)The damage to the kidney of the ratmodels with hyperuricemia from Chushihuayu Decoction is lower than that from allopurinol.
