PART 1 (1) Synthesis of Imidazol-1-Yiacetic Acid Hydrochloride Objective: To establish new synthetic technics of imidazol-1-yiacetic acid hydrochloride and make it more adaptable to industrialization produce and pharmaceutical manufacture. Method: Imidazol-1-yiacetic acid hydrochloride was synthesized from imidazole, using phase transfer catalysis, by alkylysis and N-hydrolysis. Results: The overall yield of imidazol-1-yiacetic acid hydrochloride was 35.1%~36.5%. Its chemical structure was confirmed by 1H-NMR.Conclusion: The method with low cost is simple and adaptable to industrialization produce of pharmaceutical.
