Objective: To observe the feasibility of diclofenac sodium combinedwith fibrin glue on prevention of epidural scar adhesion after laminectomy Methods: a total of 48 rabbits were established as the experimental modelundergoing lumber 3 laminectomy, after 1% sodium pentobarbital was used,they were performed in lumber 3 segment for 1.0cm×1.0cm Lamina of vertebradeficit. For research purpose we random divided them into four groups of 12rabbits in every: A(control),B(fed with diclofenac sodium 10mg/kg/d for 2weeks after operation),C(sprinkled fibrin glue during the operation) andD(sprinkled fibrin glue during the operation and fed with diclofenacsodium10mg/kg/d for 2 weeks after operation) ,. the effect on epidural scarhyperplasia and count of inflammation cell or fibroblast cell in pathologicalsection after L3 laminectomy were observed by macrography at 4 and 8 weekspostoperatively, the same as array of fibroblast organell and collagen fiber byelectronic microscopy. Result: The cicatrization of epidural scar and inflammatory reaction afterlaminectomy in the groups of B and C were less than A. The effect ofgroup D were the best in all groups. At 4week and 8 week,there is significantdifference between group A and the other group,the same as group D and theother group by count of fibroblast cell and fibroblast cell inflammation cell . The epidural scar adhesion at 8 week were significantly better than those at 4week.The electronic microscopy result is :group A: fibroblast cell is active, Golgibody is most, collagen fiber pykno-array;group D: Golgi body is lest, collagen fiberarray most loosely,group B and group C are between group A and groupD.According to RYDELL and BALAZS criterion,we estetate adhesion temger.There is only significant difference between group A and the other II山西医科大学硕士学位论文group. Conclusion: The group diclofenac sodium combined with fibrin glue canprevent post-laminectomy cicatrization of epidural scar and it was moreeffective than the group of fed with diclofenac sodium or sprinkled fibrin glue.
