For the moment, cancer is threatening people's health more seriously, searching for the safe and effective antitumor components from natural medical materias has become an important part of studying antitumor drugs in the world. The MGC-803 cytotoxic experiment in vitro by the method of MTT and the experiment of mice with transplanted tumor S-180 in vivo showed that both the water extract and the alcohol extract of Agaricus blazei Murill. had strong cytotoxic activity. In order to make sure its antitumor effective components, the water extract and the alcohol extract of Agaricus blazei Murill. were studied respectively in this experiment. In addition, the experiment investigated the coincidence of active components and their activities between the cultured Agaricus blazei Murill. in the Yanbian autonomous region and Agaricus blazei Murill. producted in places abroad.Agaricus blazei Murill., also named little matsutake or Brazilian mushroom .It is a kind of tonic. The active constituents of the water extract and the alcohol extract of Agaricus blazei Murill. cultured in the Yanbian autonomous region were studied in this experiment. 9 compounds were isolated by the methods of sovent extraction and silica gel column chromatography. Among them, 6 compounds were determined by GC/MS, and they were identified as .3 compounds were isolated by silica gel column chromatography and they were identified by physiochemical properties and spectrum analysis . They are :(1)1 -octanol-2-en,(2)Acetic acid,(3)pyridinium, 1,2-dimethyl,perchlorate ,(4)Ethyl palmitate,(5)Benzaldehyde,(6)Methane,sucfinylbis,(7)mannitol,(8) the chemical structure not identified.compounds ,(9) 3,4,5-Trihydroxy-2,2-dimethyl-cyclopentanon (l),(3),(4),(6),(7),(8),(9)were isolated from Dioscorea septemloba Thunb for the first time.
