A Clinical Study The Influence Of Jianpishenhuayuzhuo Therapeutic Principle On The Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective: To study the influence of Jianpishenhuayuzhuo therapeutic principle and luobitong capsule on nerve conduction velocity (NCV), blood-glucose(BG), blood-protein of glucose, blood-fat and hemorheo-logy on the treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy(DPN). Method: 56 patients were randomly divided into Luobitong capsule decoction-treated group(n=30) and Zhonghui-Tangmaikang granule-controlled group(n=26). With duration of 30 days, observing the changes of clinical symptoms, NCV, BG, BPG, blood-fat and hemorheology. Results: (1) After therapy, the two groups can all alleviate the clinical symptoms, and the treatment group were superior to the control group. (2)The total disease effective rate was significantly higher in treatment group (73.3%) compared with that in control group (53.8%, p<0.05), and change of Median Ulnar,Tibial, Superfical Sensory NCV was significantly higher in treatment group compared with that in control group (p<0.05).(3) After therapy, the level of BG, BPG, blood- fat and hemorheology all fell in both groups. Conclusions: Jianpishenhuayuzhuo therapeutic principle and Luobitong capsule can alleviate clinical symptoms of DPN, and prompt NCV. Its efficiency on DPN is better than that of Tangmaikang granule.
