ObjectiveStrike is the third most common cause of death . Previous studies indicated that diabetes mellitus is an independent rist factor for stroke. Diabetes mellitus is strongly related to early stroke progression and associatel with poorer stroke outcome. To discuss the role NF - κB in cerebral ischemic reperfusion and chronic diabetes mellitus neuronal injury. . We studied its activation in the focal cerebral ischemic reperfusion and chronic diabetes mellitus model.MethodsOur study investigated the expression of NF - kB in cerebral ischemic reperfusion and chronic diabetes mellitus neuronal injury. The focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion model was made by thread embolism of middle cerebral artery. Diabetic rat model was made by Wewenshi methods. 75 adule female rats were divided into 3 groups: control group , ischemic reperfusion group , ischemic reperfusion and diabetes group . At2,12,48,72 hours after ischemic reperfusion , the expression of NF - κB in there groups was determined by immunohistocher-misty individually.ResultWe founded that the expression of NF - κB in ischemic reperfusion group increased significantly. The expression of NF -κB in rat with diabetes mellitus...
