ObjectiveX - ray photography is the foremost inspection of pulmonary tuberculosis. As the chest tissues and ribs are overlapping, the sight obstacles to inspector influenced the analysis. The aim of this study is to determine the value of dual -energy subtraction ( DES) in infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis and pulmonum calcification, if DES will provide better news than normal DR.Methods1. We study 60 cases of infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis ( male; 28 , female : 32 ) which were diagnosed in sheng yang chest hospital between Jannuary 2004 and Jannuary 2005. Age ranges from 13 to 72, with the average of 37.6. The control group have 20 cases that have DES examination for doubt about rib fracture.2. GE - Revolution?XQ/I DR and Prospeed F E CT are used.3. The images were divided into four parts. The every images of normal DR and DESwere analysed by four radiologists (two senior and two junior ) in blind way. The diagnosis include four parts. 1). Be sure of pathology and /or calcification 2 ) Be possible of pathology and /or calcification 3 ) Be impossible of pathology and /or calcification 4) No pathology and /or calcification .
