Objective To find possible high-risk factors of causing uterine leiomyosarcoma from analyzing correspondent cases.Methods Retrospective analyses were made in 34 cases, who had been diagnosed as uterine leiomyoma or other pelvic tumors before operation and final diagnoses were uterine leiomyosarcoma according to pathological results during or after operation.Result Perimenopausal women, especially those who had a late menopause or had grand multiparity, and women who had a uterus the size over 9~10×7~8 cm and ultrasonic examination suggested irregular echo>5 cm with blood flow signs in myometrium, were likely to suffer the onset of uterine leiomyosarcoma.Conclusion High-concentration estrogen is likely to be the high-risk factor to result in uterine leiomosarcoma.
