Nowadays, there is still lack one kind of objective exact check means together with diagnosis target in circle stravismus domain. Ophthalmologists still use their naked eyes and depend on their experience to decide whether sufferer possess stravismus problem. This kind of situation not only hinders ophthalmologists from treating the sufferers, but also takes in too many factors which might cause fault decision. Now, it is still a technical blank in diagnosing circloe stravismus by computer technology. One kind of digital image processing method now we present is taken to practice. This system analyses images taken from the OIS , calculates the optic nerve' s biggest diameter circle angle, and analyses how the angles' normal values distribute. We now finish a optic nerve' s biggest diameter circle angle measurement system which uses many digital image processing methods. In this system we use projecting method to find the location of the optic nerve, use automatic threshold incise method to get the target image, use morphological erosion, dialation, opening and closing method to standardize the edge of the target image. When getting the edge of the optic nerve, we give up the traditional method of edge-detecting-operator, but use morphological technology to get the close and single-pixel-width edge of the optic nerve. Then we do not use the traditional method of first getting the biggest diameter of the optic nerve then calculating its angle with the x and y axis, but utilize the mathematics principle of ellipse turning inertia to calculate the band angle of the ellipse' s transverse. The experimental results illustrate that it is better than the formerer. Now we have apply many data images got from hospital to this system. The experimental results are provided to illustrate the usefulness of this method. We can see that the optic nerve in the retina image can be successfully detected, and its sloping angle can be got correctly. Then we can conclude the circle stravismus diagnostic system can provide a more correct and objectiveresult for both the ophthalmologists and the sufferers. Now the birth of this system fill the blank of circle stravismus diagnostic in the whole world.
