Changes Of Peripheral Dendritic Cells Subsets And Lymphocyte Subsets As Well As The Function Of Type Ⅱ Dendritic Cells (DC2) In Chronic Hepatitis B Patients Treated With CINF

Objective To observe the changes of peripheral dendritic cells subsets, lymphocyte subsets and the function of type □ dendritic cells (DC2) consecutively in patients with chronic hepatitis B during Consensus Interferon(CIFN) treatment. Methods Twenty-three patients with chronic hepatitis B were treated with CIFN for 24 weeks and followed up for another 24 weeks.after CIFN withdrawal. During CIFN treatment peripheral dendritic cell subsets, lymphocyte subsets and serum HBV markers and HBV DNA level were measured. Blood routine test, liver and kidney function were also detected in all patients. In another 23 chronic hepatitis B patients treated with CIFN, the change of DC2 function of IFN-α production were evaluated before and after 2-week IFN- α treatment. Results After CIFN treatment, 43.5 % patients obtained virological and biochemicai responses. Percentages of patients whose ALT resumed normal were respectively 34.8%,30.4% and 33.3% in 12weeks,24 weeks and 48 weeks after the treatment of CIFN. No patients' HbsAg was negative after the treatment of CIFN. Negative percentages HBVDNA and HbeAg and positive percentages of HbeAb of patients were respectively 21.7%, 30.4% and 8.7% in 12weeks after the treatment of CIFN, 34.8%. 39.1%, 8.7% in 24 weeks, 38.9%, 33.3%, 22.2% in 48 weeks. The percentage and absolute number of peripheral type I and □ dendritic cells decreased greatly(All P<0.05), the numbers of CD4~+ T celk B cells dropped obviously too (All P<0.05);but the numbers of CD8~+ T cell and NK cells increased a little in 24 weeks and 48 weeks after the treatment of CIFN(A11 P>0.05).
