Magnetic Induction Tomography (MIT) is a new method of contactless conductivity tomography. It measures the distribution of biological tissue' s conductivity based on the theory of electrical magnetic field detecting.MIT has some great prospective application in distinguishing different type of brain edema. While detecting brain' s impedance in MIT, the object is the brain tissue with minor conductivity, which can induce some weak eddy current that is easy to be interfered by outside magnetic field. So it brings higher requirements to the design of the hardware system. In this paper, in order to get rid of the deficiencies and problems found in the original MIT system, such as bad stability and repeatability, and so on, we made further research and redesigned a hardware system for a single-channel MIT.
