| ObjectiveTo compare the accuracy of DIVU and CT in diagnosis of the urinary system. To evaluate the effect of visualisation ability of the urinary system and the diagnosis of the diseases within the urinary tract.Materials and MethodsA total of 177 pathological and clinical diagnosis results were collected and divided into the following; bladder tumor, stones and tuberculosis of the urinary system. All had the abdominal and DIVU radiographs among which 110 had CT examinations.ResultsThe DIVU and CT rate of accuracy in the diagnosis of bladder tumor is 83. 9% and 93.5% respectively. There isn't any statistical difference between the two, (P > 0.05). For stones < 5mm, DIVU and CT diagnostic rate of accuracy is 94.5% and 95.2% respectively. For stones >5mm the diagnostic rate of accuracy for DIVU is 98. 5% and CT is 100%. No statistical difference is observed between the two. For kidney tuberculosis, the diagnostic rate of accuracy for DIVU is 46.2% and CT is 80.8%. There's evident statistical difference between the two values. |
