Diabetic foot (DF) is one of the serious diabetes complication. Because of high treatment charge, it is not only the burden of patients, but also the difficulty of the entire society. Although the treatment of diabetic foot in TCM has already gained many achievements, it' s potentiality still has not exerted, because of the subjectivity and faintness in TCM syndrome types. Objective: To discuss elementarily the relationship between differentiation of the syndromes of diabetic foot and Arterial Ultrasonic Doppler data, blood lipid and uric acid by advanced detective methods.Method: Using retrospective case investigation study method, we collect data of hospitalization medical records in the nearly four years. 60 medical records were collected in the end. We divided them into five groups according to TCM syndrome differentiation. The five groups were respectively the stagenent deficiency of both qi and blood type, the stagenent in collaterals type, the stagenent heat in collaterals type, the heat toxin in collaterals type, the stagenent deficiency of both qi and yin type, and comparing to 15 non-diabetes as control group. Data were analyzed by SPSS 12th version statistic software. Results: Compared with non-diabetes, DF group showed artery straitness and obturation, due to obviously arteriosclerosis and multiple sclerosis. The lower limbs artery intravascular diameter of DF group is narrower than the non-diabetes group, especially the diameter of femoral artery, popliteal artery, anterior tibial artery and posterior tibial artery. All intravascular diameter in stagenent deficiency of both qi and yin type is narrower than other types. Compared with non-diabetes group, TG level of DF group ascended obviously, and HDL-C level descended significantly(P<0.01). In TCM syndrome...
