Brain lacking blood and oxygen caused by cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction can increase the permeability of the capillary wall of brain, and then lead to brain edema. It is thus clear that cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction have common pathogenesy of brain damage, and the parhogenetic condition of aphemia will relieve with the improving of the damage degree of brain. Many study show that NO, ET, CGRP participate the blood flow control of brain and they are important on the blood circulation of brain. Therapeutics of bloodletting is one method of acupuncture. Clinical practice proved that this method has effects such as awaking brain and enlightening, reducing heat and detumescence, dredging meridian, relieving pain and so on. So we choosed therapeutics of bloodletting as a main therapeutic tool of aphemia. Objective To study the effect of therapeutics of bloodletting in points of Jinjin and Yuye on aphemia due to stroke and the effect on contents of ET and CGRP of patients. Approach the possible treatment mechanism of aphemia with therapeutics of bloodletting.Method In accordance with the diagnistic criteria established in the fourth nationwide academic congress of CVD in 1995,62 cases of aphemia were enrolled into the research and divided randomly into 32 cases as bloodletting group and 30 cases as traditional-body-acupuncture group.
