This subject aimed at discussing its clinical curative effect through observing abdomen needle treatment retreating fever to acute upper respiratory tract infection.Objective: To observe the clinic therapeutic effect that abdominal needle therapy treat the people with weifen syndrome and syndrome involving the defense and qi phase, and to discuss the relationship between syndrome and clinic therapeutic effect.Method: Adopting the randomization comparison single-blind method to divide the patients who are diagnosed as viral upper respiratory infection into three groups which named abdominal needle therapy (treat group), traditional Chinese herbs(comparison group one), western medicine (comparison group two), and observing the results of treatment effect on those who are diagnosed as weifen syndrome and syndrome involving the defense and qi phase in TCM, at the same time evaluating the safety of the abdominal needle therapy. Result: The average time that belly needle group , traditional Chinese medicine group, Western medicine group begin to bring down a fever degree is separately 24.68, 43. 70, 22.36 minutes , The average time that body temperature dropped to normal for the first time is respectively 87. 08, 154.44, 77.50 minutes, The average time that belly needle group begin to bring down a fever degree and the average time that body temperature dropped to normal for the first time are obviously shorter than traditional Chinese medicine group, but equal to Western medicine group.
