Abstract/Summary:
According to the research program of "methods following crucial points of diseases and dismantling prescription to depend on methods", Shengyu Decoction was divided into four ingredient groups: one group tianjing and nourishing blood, one group supplying air and nourishing blood, one group combining the former two and the last group nourishing and activating blood. We wanted to reveal the reason why Shengyu Decoction and its ingredient groups nourished blood, and partly annotated scientific connotation of methods nourishing blood which every group presented, and tried to find out mechanism of making Shengyu Decoction and relationships of associated methods nourishing the blood through the study on nourishing blood effect of Shengyu Decoction and its groups in radioactivity blood deficiency mice. The investigation made it clear that Shengyu Decoction and its ingredient groups not only had effect on enriching blood, but also had different intensity on increasing blood cells,HGB,exponent of thymus gland, exponent of spleen, 1L-6 in blood serum and the expression of GM-CSF in bone marrow. The results indicated that targets and pathways of actions were different by which methods nourishing the blood controled hematological system. Results of Shengyu Decoction were better than other groups, and had overall superiority over others. The group ( Radix Rehmanniae and Radix Paeoniae Alba)which tianjing and nourish blood may play main role in the action of increasing blood. The group which supply air and nourish blood (Radix Ginseng and Radix Astragali) had complex relationships with the groups which included Radix Rehmanniae and Radix...
