The Correlation Between The Tiam1-Rac1-PAK1 Sigual Transduction Pathway And The Invasion And Metastasis Of Colorectal Carcinoma | Posted on:2006-07-02 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:S X Lang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2144360155459470 | Subject:General Surgery | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To research the Correlation between the Tiam1-Rac1-PAK1 Signal Transduction Pathway and the invasion and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma and the mechanism of Rac1-PAK1 Signal Transduction. Methods: Immunohistochemistry and reverse transcription- polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) were used to detect Tiaml,Racl and PPAK1 (phosphorylated at threonine 423) expression in 33 panels of samples including cancerous tissues and tissues of cutting side(N). In addition, Western bolt was also used to determine translational level of PPAK1. All the results were statistically analyzed. Results: 1.The expression of Tiaml,Racl and PPAK1 in colorectal carcinoma aresignificantly higher than those in tissue of cutting side. 2.There is positive correlation between Tiaml,Racl and PPAK1 expression intumor and lymph node metastasis, neoplasia invasion, as well as Dukesstage. 3.There is no correlation between Tiaml,Racl and PPAK1 expression andhistological type, as well as differetiation in colorectal carcinoma. 4.There is positive correlation between Tiam1 expression and Rac1expression. 5.There is positive correlation between Racl expression and PPAK1expression.Conclusions: 1. The high expression of Tiam1,Rac1 and PPAK1 indicate that they may all... | Keywords/Search Tags: | colorectal carcinoma, Tiam1, Rac1, PAK1, phosphorylation, invasion, metastasis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
