Objective To investigate the situation , and influencing factors of sleep disorders in children aged 2~6 years in Guangzhou , and to Provide evidence for prevention and treatment of sleep disorders of children.Methods A purposing sampling study was conducted among 1464 children aged 2~6 years from 12 nurseries and kindergartens in Guangzhou to investigate the current situation and related states by questionnaire survey, and to study the epidemiological features , influencing factors of children's sleep disorders.Results Prevalence of sleep disorders in children aged 2~6 years was 37.23% in Guangzhou . There were 12 kinds of sleep disorders symptoms . The prevalence of hyperhidrosis was 18.58% , squirm 8.47% , bedwetting 6.90% , snore 6.01% , bruxism 5.94% , awake by choke 4.44% , breathing by mouth 2.73% , sleep talking 2.73% , body twitching 1.43% , larynx choking 0.55% , sleep apnea 0.48% and sleepwalking 0.34%.The main risk factors of children's sleep disorders were partiality for a particular foods , hypersensitive rhinitis , times of bronchitis in a year ,parents' smoking amount per day in recent 12 months at home , parental snore , and so on . Bottle-feed was easier to cause sleep disorders than breast milk feeding . The compound milk powder was better than the milk to baby . Children were likely to have sleep disorders if their mother's educational level were higher.The children who had sleep disorders were shorter and thinner than the normal ones. At the same time , they were easier to have bad psychosis and often to want to sleep at daytime.Conclusion The prevalence of sleep disorders in children aged 2~6 years in Guangzhou was high , which affected children's growth and development. Much attention should be paid on it.
