To determine the toxicity of alpha-terthienyl and deltamethrin to sensitive and resistant Aedes albopictus 4th larvae by biologic assay.2. To detect protein content, esterase activity and MDA content of Aedes albopictus 4th larvae by biochemistry method after treated by UVA and alpha-terthienyl.3. To investigate the LPO changes of Aedes albopictus 4th larvae by histological method.Results:1. Under UVA and alpha-terthienyl, sensitive and resistant Aedes albopictus 4th larvae showed same toxicosis2. The LC50 (median lethal concentration) was 5.34μg/L and 9.09μg/L respectively for sensitive and resistant group of Aedes albopictus 4th larvae after treated by UVA and alpha-terthienyl;3. The LC50 (median lethal concentration) was 0.54μg/L and 444.17μg/L respectively for sensitive and resistant group of Aedes albopictus 4th larvae after treated by deltamethrin;.4. There was no cross-resistance between deltamethrin and alpha-terthienyl.5. Under UVA and alpha-terthienyl, protein contents of resistant and sensitive Aedes albopictus 4th larvae were all raised and esterase activity were all decreased.6. Under UVA and alpha-terthienyl, MDA content of resistant and sensitive Aedesalbopictus 4th larvae were all raised, the higher dose of alpha-terthienyl, the higher of MDA content.7. The LPO changes were discovered in midgut and malpighian tubule of Aedes albopictus 4th larvae after treated by UVA and alpha-terthienyl.Conclusion:1. Alpha-terthienyl is a light-activated, high effect to kill both sensitive and resistant Aedes albopictus larvae;2. There is no cross-resistance between deltamethrin and alpha-terthienyl;3. Under UVA and alpha-terthienyl, protein contents and MDA content of Aedes albopictus larvae of 4th instar are raised and esterase activity are decreased;4.
