Objective: to reproduce the type Stanford B aortic dissection model; to study the mechanic parameters of the sample with the omnipotence biologic mechanic-meter. Try to explore the dissection evolution rule. Method: dissection reproduction way: through opening the thoracic cavity and by the operation way, we applied four methods to construct the dissection model. The mechanism parameter of the inner wall and the out side wall of the dissection of different time points were tested by the bio-mechanism-meter. Results: The TAD could be made by all these methods. However, method 4 is the best way. The intensity of the dissection was weakest 2 week after the made of the model and was strengthened gradually with the processing of the time. The strain of the specimen was lowered with the processing of the time. Conclusion: It is applicable to construct a canine type B TAD model conformed to pathology and pathophysiology by method 4. The intensity and strain of the dissection were changed with the processing of the time. These phenomena may be due to the inflammation and the fibrosis of the tissure of the dissection wall.
