Renal MR perfusion imaging is a new method studied by researchers after cerebral MR perfusion imaging. To further explore the significance of renal MR perfusion in hemodynamic situation, this dissertation conducts clinical observation. Objective: To report the preliminary study of renal diseases by using renal dynamic EPI-T2* perfusion imaging and summarize the perfusion status of normal adult and the perfusion changes in renal diseases .Methods: Totally twenty-one cases were studied including 9 healthful adults, 7cases with renal carcinoma, 3 cases with renal cyst, 2 cases with renal tubereulosis. MR examinations were performed with T2WI, T1WIand dynamic EPI-T2 perfusion. The patients' data were transferred to workstation and processed to obtain time-singal intensity curves, color perfusion maps and relative perfusion value. Results: the results showed that rRBV , rRBF, MTT 和 TTP of the cortex was statistically significant than that of the medulla in the control group. Perfusion in the renal lesions was statistically significant. Conclusion : MR dynamic EPI-T2 perfusion imaging can demonstrate the hemodynamic state of normal renal tissues and pathological lesions. Combined with routine MR imaging, the renal dynamic EPI-T2 perfusion imaging will become an ideal method to show the morphological and functional changes of renal lesions successfully.
