Objectives:This study, baseing on the theory of TCM and combination of Traditional Chinese with western medicine, Systematically explores the etiological factors and therapeutic methods for unstable angina pectoris (UA) in active phase from both experimental and clinical aspects. The research considers the yang deficiency , the cold in the blood and blood stagnation as the main causes of UA, and accordingly adopts the treatment of warming yang and promoting bloodcirculation as the main therapeutic method. Base on that,we developed a concrete treatment approach wenxinningtong decoction which aiming to study the efficacy and mechanism of this approach. Methods:In the clinical study, patients of UA were divided randomly into two groups, the control group (n=30) was treated with conventional method and the treated group(n=30)was treated with wenxinningtong decoction, on the basis of the conventional method. We studied two groups in terms of their clinical symptom, change of electrocardiogram, blood pressure, blood lipid, the parameter of blood lipids and hemorheology, and the molecular sign of plateletactivation(CD62p,CD63).In the experimental study,40 cases of cats were made into models. Pituitary (0.5U/kg) was given to model of acute myocardium ischemia. The changes of the electrocardiogram and SOD, MDA, ET, TXB2 were observed after injection pituitary and we were able to compare differences between treatment and control groups. Results: The clinical results show that in the aspect of of eliminating symptoms, reduce blood lipid level, lower blood pressure, improving the parameter of blood lipids and hemorheology, reducing the molecular sign of plateletactivation (CD62p ,CD63),...
