The major influential factors of the current study included the polymorphism of apolipoprotein A-IV and apolipoprotein B and the interaction between apolipoprotein A-IV and apolipoprotein B.Methods Cohort study. In order to elucidate genetic and environmental influence on individualized response to antihypertensive treatment, from March to May 2004,a study on pharmacogenomics in essential hypertension was conducted in a county ,anhui,china.709 subjects(183 men, 526 women)recruited to the prospective study cohort and 546 of them(145 men, 401 women)completed 15 days Nifedipine treatment. Genotype was detected by PCR-PFLP and the clinical and epidemiological information was completed during treatment. Reduction in SBP and DBP were calculated as the difference before and after the treat period. We analysis the data by methods of T-test, ANOVA and multiple linear regression. Results 1.The SNP of Asn147Ser in the APOA-IV genotype was associated with reduction in SBP of male patients. Compared to male patients with the AA genotype and after adjustment for important covariates , male patients with the GG genotype had higher reduction of SBP (p=0.0409).there is no significance in reduction of DBP in three genotypes.2. The SNP of Lys4181Glu in the Apo B genotype was associated with... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Apolipoprotein A-IV, Apolipoprotein B, Polymorphism, Nifedipine, Essenti al hypertension, Interaction, Efficacy response | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
