In order to solve the problem of antibody high product costs and poor therapeutic effect for solid tumor, our study focused on gene therapy system of expressing full-length antibody. We suggested two innovative methods: (1) Gene therapy using full-length antibody. The result of experimentation in vitro and in vivo showed that using adenovirus vector expressing full-length antibody was a feasible method for tumor therapy. The low product costs solved the problem of antibody or antibody fragment high product costs and broke through the bottle-neck of antibody product technology. (2) Cell therapy system by targeting tumor cell and expressing full-length antibody efficiently. To solve the problem of full-length antibody into tumor mass, we utilized MSC, which could recognize the signal from the injured cells of tumor or tissue and assisted to construct matrix or junction tissues for tumor growth, as target vector to tumor cells. These cells could specifically express antibodies within tumor mass, and efficiently killed tumor cells. All in all, both tumor therapy methods were prospective and innovative.
