| Objective: To explore the use of Arthcare2000 under arthroscope.Methods: 30 cases anterior cruciate ligaments were reconstructed by applying autogenous bone-patellar tendon-bone graft under arthroscope from 2001, 3 to 2003, 3. Among of them, 18 cases are men and 12 cases are women. The average age is 25.4 years old (16-53). 28 cases posterior cruciate ligaments were reconstructed by applying autogenous bone-patellar tendon-bone graft under arthroscope from 2001, 3 to 2003, 3. The average age is 25.4 years old (16-53 ).25 cases (32 knees) were treated arthroscopically. Arthrocare 2000 can resect and smooth over the meniscus according to different energy. Other intra-articular abnormalities were also treated arthroscopically. 17 cases (22 knees) were treated arthroscopically by partial lateral retinaculum release and medical retinaculum constracture to improve the patellar- femur motion tract. Other intra-articular abnormalities were also treated under arthroscopeResults: After 1-3 years follow-up, the range of motion of knee joint is normal. Lysholim scores raise from 52 to 83 points. After 1-3 years follow-up, the range of motion of knee joint is normal. All patients had positive posterior drawer test and positive Lachman test preoperatively , only 2 cases had slight positive posterior drawer test and 1 case had slight positive Lachman test in the last follow -up time.Lysholim scores raise from 52 to 87 points. In the subjective and objective evaluation , all patients considered that their knee's function is greatly improved. Postoperatively, all the patientes were satisfied with the operation, no complain ofpain and swelling knees. The range of motion is good. The range of motion is good.Conclusion: We use B-P-B to reconstruct anterior cruciate ligament with Arthcare2000 under arthroscope .The procedure is minimally invasive and useful to restore function of the knee joint .Under arthroscope, one can accurately localize the ACL anatomic insertion.
