| Red blood cell (RBC) have a strong capability of deformability. The deformability of RBC has important pathology and physiological meanings. The study of RBC deformability is one of the most important study fields of cell rheology. With the development of cell rheology, the present methods of RBC deformability measurement can not match the requirement of cell rheology study. Just under this background, the author studied a new technology of silicon microchannel array, and present it a measurement for RBC deformability.Also,the technology achieved partially production after our groups'hard work. The author studied and did some amelioration aim at the problems in the old measurement system. Firstly,the author mend the chip's design using the technology of MEMS,and maching it successfully in the NO.24 Research Institute of CETC. Secondly,the flow system was anew designed and processed in material of glass.Thirdly,The author changed the negative press driver to the positive press driver,which solve the problem of pressurize. Lastly,the author anew designed the observation ,that do good to collect better image information. Also,the paper validate the new measurement system for its repetition and reliability through the pertinency experiment. Combine with the Laser scanning confocal microscope,the author studied that how the strength of Ca2+ affects RBC deformability.The strength of Ca2+ in the RBC measured by the Laser scanning confocal microscope,and then the RBC deformability measured by our silicon microchannel array chip system.So we can gain the result of how the strength of Ca2+ affect RBC deformability. |
