Objective To evaluate the feasibility and clinical value of serum cystatin C in assessing glomerular filtrationrate in renal transplant patients. Methods Thirty-nine renal transplant patients (22male/17female), aged 39 ± 10.2 years, were recruited in the study. Serum cystatin C(SCysC), serum creatinine(Scr) and blood uria nitrogen(BUN) were determined on the day of operation ,1 week and 4 weeks after operation, respectively. SCysC was determined by particle-enhanced turbidimetric immunoassay(PETIA).The creatinine clearance(Ccr) was calculated followed the Cockcroft-Gault formula. According to different level of Ccr, the patients were divided into 4 groups. Group A(n=17): Ccr>80ml/min/1.73m~2 ; Group B(n=38) : 50ml/min/1.73m~2 |
