Objective: To explore relation between F-actin expression of astrocyte after Coriaria Lactone and gap junction .also exploreit' s significance in epilepsy.Methods: The structure and distribution of the cytoskeleton F-actin of cultural astrocyte were observed with LSCM through DIF (direct immunofluorescence), the content were determinated simultaneously.Results: F-actin fluorescence intensity after astrocyte were dealed in high concentration KCL for 24h, 48h were increased compared with control group. And F-actin fluorescence intensity after astrocyte were dealed in CL and CL+1-hepatal were highly increased compared with group dealed only with KCL, while KCL+1-hepatal group were decreased compared with KCL group. Conclusions: CL can decreased the leavel of F-actin in astrocyte, while 1-hepatal can do the opposite. This change may influence the signal transmission between cytoskeletal filament and astrocyte .anf this may do something important in epilepgenic.
