Clinical And Theoretical Study On The Effects Of Treating Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease With Chinese Herb And Acupuncture

Objective: To observe the effects on the treating COPD and the influence of the expression for IL-6, IL-8, ET, TNF with acupunctureand Fei Ji Ning.Methods:60 confirmed COPD patients were randomly divided into two groups .30 patients of the treated group were treated with Fei Ji Ning mixture.30 patients in control group were treated with acupuncture and Fei Ji Ning mixture, and the clinical therapeutic effects were observed and the related items(IL-6, IL-8, ET, TNF) were mearured before and after the treatment. Results: The clinical study showed the therapeutic effects of the treated group were more significant than its of the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01),that the pulmonary ventilator were increased and IL-6, IL-8, ET, TNF were decreased more significantly than the contral group(p<0.05). Conclusion: acupuncture plus Fei jining mixture has better effects on COPD. And the functionary mechanism may be relative to its inhibiting IL-6, IL-8, ET, TNF released.
