Clinical Investigation Of Treating Pelvic Mass Of Female With Guizhifuling Capsules

Objective: to observe the effect of treating pelvic mass of female with guizhi filling capsules. Methods: 157 cases of pelvic mass have been treated by guizhi filling capsule for 3 months, 30 cases were leiomyoma of the uterus, 31 cases were adenomyosis, 38 cases were ovarian cysts of simplicity and 58 cases were endometrioma.To observe the improvement of symptom and the condition of masses decrease by B ultrasonic.Results: The total effective rate of ovarian cysts of simplicity, endometrioma, adenomyosis and leiomyoma of the uterus, respectively, is 92.11%, 77.59%, 70.00%, 74.19%.The biggest diameter of leiomyoma or cysts in 5cm above were significantly different from that in 5cm below(p<0.05~0.01), 5cm below are better.But, no statistically significant differences were observed in uni-leiomyoma when compared with the multi-leiomyoma (P>0.05); the same as endometrioma in the uterus of 8 weeks below compared with that of 8weeks above (p >0.05 ) . The tau-b suggest the less cyst , leiomyoma or uterus , the better treating effect. When we compare ovarian cysts of simplicity with others, statistically significant differences were observed (p<0.05~0.01) and the curative effect is the best. The symptoms of dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, lumbago etc. with all have evident improvement early and the total effective rate is 91%.ConcIusion: Guizhi fuling capsules showevidently curative effect, not only in improvement of symptoms of dysmenorrhoea, irregular menstruation, lumbago etc, but also the less leiomyoma of uterus, ovarian cysts of simplicity, endometrioma and adenomyosis.Most cases can be improved or cured and the best curative effect can be observed with ovarian cysts of simplicity.
