High effective, safe, cheap medicine t is needed, so plant which have effect on schistosomiasis is to be seek, but there is no plant which can reach WHO's standards.Goal and content of the research: the goal is to study the effect on Oncomelania hupensis of Reinecken camea, the components of Reinecken camea and to offer an account for researching new pattern of Reinecken camea and establish standards for corporation.Result of the research: the mortality of Reinecken camea powder is 86.0% for 72h immersion and 100% for 120h at the concentration of 17.5mg/L;The snail mortality with fraction A was 84.4% for 144h at the concentration of 10 mg/L, fraction A contains 46.76%RC-I, it is deduced that RC-I has high effect on Oncomelania hupensis, RC-I was determined by API2000 LC/MS and other spectrum, and it was deduced to be one of steroidal glycosides. RC—II is 100% for 48h immersion at the concentration of 25 mg/L andl2.5mg/L, From the testing we can conclude that Reineckea camea has high effective on Oncomelania hupensis.
